Welcome to Rascal's Furniture, formally known as Fuzzot Furniture. We are the same wheel of people handcrafting you the same quality pieces of furniture and cabinets that you grew to know and love from Fuzzots.
The furniture you see here is an example of the character and the way of the "good ol' days", hard work, dependable, durable, and done right the first time. We use material from historical or dilapidated homes and turn it into custom one of a kind furniture and cabinetry that will be handed down from one generation to the next. Old Fuzzot himself called this Trash for Cash, but we like to think of it has reclaiming history one piece at a time... that will be around for century's to come; heirloom pieces.

Mr. Fuzzot himself created this style of furniture and tried to "think outside the box"; we were doing this when it was not "cool" and before it was in every home decor magazine. Since 1998 Fuzzot and some good ol boys out of Fayetteville, GA have been on the move; junking or "picking," building furniture, designing, and traveling to a select few fleamarkets, festivals, and home shows each month. With patience, imagination, and courage we have distributed Fuzzot Furniture "from the roots, while using the best soil or geographical locations." Through time and "Word of Mouth" our customers have found us and given us a chance to create custom wooden furniture. Fortunately, we have also had regulars or dealers who have received 'wholesale' prices and "retailed" the pieces out in their "high-end" stores. Our consistency and patience has slowly paid off. Along with the establishments made in Tuscumbia, AL, this wheel of people has created the opportunity to "stroll" U.S.A. made furniture all over the Southeast region of America.
In 2007 we decided that the public needed to be able to view our recycled "works of art" and repeat customers could have easy access to reorder our furniture. Why do people buy our furniture? "Because it has a touch of "Southern Charm," yet has the durable characteristics of Colonial American made furniture. The "one-of-a-kind style, along with the beautiful distressed finish and glaze, sets it in a league of its own." People often ask, "where is your store...your inventory?" There is no inventory...we build it one piece at a time and most of the time the pieces are sold twice before we ever begin. We have the website, the photo albums, and we use our home as a part-time "showroom." When I started this unique style of woodwork, I knew that we were "pioneers" who depended on allowing the furniture to "speak for itself." Hopefully the website will open new doors for Fuzzot and Rascal and allow us to live the "American Dream."
Please remember that Fuzzot is a crew of people who build one piece at a time; we live off word of mouth. We are the woodshop in the backyard type of folks who are stuck in our old ways because we trust our process and style of building.
